Sr MarTech Analyst
As a Senior MarTech Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our marketing technology stack, implementing data-driven marketing strategies, and maximizing our marketing ROI. To achieve this, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the requirements, design, implementation, quality assurance and maintenance of our marketing data and technology management and integration strategies.
You will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing Data and Technology and partner directly with our Product, Marketing, Data, and IT teams to support the evolution of the MarTech stack, data management, data governance and marketing operations processes required to deliver effective personalized digital experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the management, integrations and optimization of our marketing technology platforms, such as a customer data platform, a consent management platform, web analytics and tagging tools, marketing automation and more
- Partner with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to gather and develop requirements in support of Martech initiatives
- Develop and maintain Martech system and process documentation and provide training to users across the business to support internal knowledge sharing and enablement
- Ensure the integrity and seamless integration of marketing data across various Martech platforms and databases
- Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot integrations and data pipelines delivering marketing audiences and data throughout the Martech stack
- Partner closely with our Marketing, Business Intelligence and IT teams to manage our data as an integral part of our ecosystem ensuring efficient and scalable technical solutions are designed and implemented
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and implement security measures to protect customer data in alignment with data governance policies
- Maintain close relationships with our vendors to stay up to date on platform evolution, to ensure we follow best practices and to maximize our return on investment
- Communicate effectively between technical and business stakeholders, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and be the subject matter expert for all things Martech
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred) or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience working in around the Martech landscape with proven proficiency in tools such as marketing automation, web analytics & tagging and customer data platforms (current certifications are a plus)
- Experience integrating Martech systems with other software applications, databases, and APIs
- Experience with customer data management platforms and data governance processes
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- 3+ years’ experience writing advanced SQL to query and analyze data from large, enterprise data warehouses
- Proven professional experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure, etc.)
- Prior experience with data visualization or BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Power BI) is a plus
- Basic web coding and scripting skills (e.g., HTML, JavaScript) is a plus
- Experience with AdTech technologies such as Meta, Google is a plus
- Skilled in evaluating the competitive landscape, identifying compelling solutions, analyzing technologies, and assessing the importance of emerging platforms and tools
- Ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and support decision-making process to act on recommendations
- Experience with Agile delivery processes and methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strong organizational skills, time management, portfolio prioritization, and accountability
